The two new truck model series MAN TGX and MAN TGS were proclaimed "Truck of the Year 2008" at the European Road Transport Show 2007 in Amsterdam. This means that MAN Nutzfahrzeuge has won this valuable award from the international jury for the seventh time - a unique achievement among truck manufacturers.

Within the framework of the brand strategy and due to the high level of quality and innovation it aspires to, MAN purchased, among others, the Büssing Automobilwerke in the year 1971. The Büssing lion is a shared element in the product logos of the MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Group. The lion decorates the radiator grilles of MAN trucks and MAN buses.
