Reaching the destination with MAN TeleMatics reliably – a success story
The Graf haulage company in Bochum has already been using the MAN TeleMatics fleet management system for eight years now. The owner Gérard Graf and his employees shared their extremely positive experiences with "inmotion", the MAN customer magazine.
More transparency – fewer costs
There have been quite a number of developments at the company since MAN TeleMatics was introduced.
And not only the planning and scheduling division is enthusiastic: "The system makes our work a lot easier, you don’t have the hassle of making so many phone calls.
TeleMatics has won over the drivers too: "MAN TeleMatics came with a navigation system, and since then I’ve had fewer detours and delays", said one driver who has been with the company for many years.

More precise information leads to customer satisfaction
Thanks to MAN TeleMatics, the company can now make realistic predictions regarding the arrival of a consignment.
"While others are playing a guessing game, we always know where our vehicles are", explains Graf. His customers also appreciate the fact that precise information on delivery dates/times as well as delays is available. As Graf points out: "And when the customers know, they can react accordingly."
NEW: Display of remaining driving time
A new feature which has been recently introduced in accordance with the European driving time ordinance and has made day-to-day work even easier: remaining driving time.
The operator knows immediately whether or not the driver is going to complete the journey. This provides an additional benefit for both the operator and haulage company – planning reliability and transparency.
