The solution for new vehicles

MAN offers the PM-KAT® filter for Euro 4 vehicles of the heavy model series and TGL.

Whoever drives an MAN with PM-KAT® filter can enjoy the user benefits for clean trucks and profit from advantages provided by the state such as tax relief or lower toll charges. Driving restrictions in large cities will not be an issue for vehicles with PM-KAT® filters.

Retrofit for Euro 3 vehicles

If required, a retrofit solution can be documented for MAN vehicles of the TGA, TGL, TGM and L/M2000 model series.

MAN has been committed to driving development forward and was the first commercial vehicle manufacturer to place a retrofit particulate filter PM-KAT® on the market.

A retrofit with MAN PM-KAT® is only possible for Euro 3 engines!
A retrofitted Euro 3 engine with MAN PM-KAT® does not comply with Euro 4!

Germany and other EU states:

On the one hand, classification of the retrofit PM-KAT® is currently involved in the discussion regarding urban environmental solutions and thus regarding access restrictions. On the other hand, state incentives or tax breaks could encourage the purchasing decision.
MAN is therefore observing developments in legislation and will be able to offer a corresponding retrofit solution on the market within a few months if the corresponding general conditions have been set up.
